\u201cOn January 3, 1922, the first ski and snowshoe trip was taken along Budlong Creek. In the 24 years since, the Club has had a number of favorite skiing areas. Of these, the South Woods’ slopes easily lead in the number of times Tramps and Trailers have slid down them. For a few years the Club held its own Winter Carnivals in the Park, with the comfort of fires and hot food added to the pleasure of skiing.\u201d (History Book #1)<\/p>\n
