Fifteen hikers set out on this cooler, but still enjoyable, Sunday. We delighted in the leisurely hike, sometimes descending down steep hills to the creek bottom – only to then have to figure out how to go back up! Some of the intrepid Tramps got up early this morning after their long drive home from Ohio yesterday to join us this morning!

 

It was great to see the water on all the falls flowing so joyously on this sunny spring morning. The beds of Vinca minor (aka Periwinkle or Myrtle) covered vast areas under the trees. It was a great morning to be outside exploring and enjoying the fellowship of kindred souls.
