Under cloudy skies with the threat of rain, 19 Tramps wound their way on the North Country Trail from Webber Road in New Woodstock through the remnants of the abandoned Mystic Mountain ski resort and an active maple sap collection site to Armstrong Pond. It was a relatively short 3.2 mile trek, with switchbacks leveling out the elevation gain, and the group was able to finish just before the rain began in earnest.
