An intriguing and captivating day unfolded before us. What commenced as a completely unexpected birthday celebration transformed into an adventurous 5.5-mile hike, all under perfect weather conditions. Along the way, the trail presented us with an array of obstacles, from roots and rocks to mud, creating a symphony of challenging terrain. Phil and Ann orchestrated both the memorable birthday gathering and the delightful watermelon treat. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to this dynamic duo for not only leading us on an exceptional hike but also for their graciousness in various aspects of the day.
