Six current as well as three aspiring Tramps enjoyed fine late winter conditions on the Carpenter Road trails Saturday February 28^th. Four of the group utilized their cross country skis to glide along 6.5 miles of the area’s sometimes skier tracked trails while the five snowshoe clad participants trekked a slightly shorter distance through the winter wonderland.

Keen eyes in both groups spied a circular ice phenomena formed by the moving water in one of the area’s many creeks. Joe Cantales was kind enough to capture pictures of that ice feature and of the group.
