Seven hikers explored the 511-acre Flatrock Mountain Conservation Easement Tract located off
NY 28 southwest of Old Forge. The land is owned by the Northeastern Loggers Association, and the public is encouraged by the land owners to enjoy this property. After the hike, members stopped at the Cantales camp on Okara Lakes for a holiday celebration, and enjoyed seeing the loons on the lake.
